Terrains generated through our control panel remain the (C)Copyright of Garage Master Online Ltd, you may use them freely anywhere on this grid, but to use them outside this grid is a breach of our copyright as the terrains are generated with our algorithms on the servers.

Use of “play currencies” in Wolf Territories Grid

We offer two options for currencies on regions. The Wolf Territories $ (WT$) managed by Podex  590 Kingston Road, London, United Kingdom, SW20 8DN and Gloebit $G.

If you purchase these currencies through their websites you do so at your own risk. Garage Master Online Ltd and Wolf Territories Grid take no responsibility for your coins or what you do with them.

The coins are purely for play and we consider them play money and although they may be redeemed if the managing companies allow it, please be aware that this redemption is by outside companies which we have no control over. They simply provide a service.

  • Gloebits (G$) – if Gloebits cease to function or trade, the currency is held on their servers.
  • Wolf Territories Dollar (WT$) – Although we hold the transactions and manage the use of the currency, PODEX deal with any transfer to other PODEX currencies.

Gambling. We allow gambling only on mature regions. Our casino is purely for fun and you use it on the understanding any play money you donate to objects is a donation to the grid. We then are happy to sometimes give a gift back to you in return.

Please do not use our casino if you feel it may cause an issue for you and seek help if you are struggling.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who do we share your data with?

We don’t share your personal data with anyone. When you transfer to another grid, the grid does get your avatar information and inventory items, but your personal data stays with us.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website/grid (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Refunds

We are unable to give refunds.

Banning

We reserve the right to ban you from our grid. Remember this grid is our property and thus we reserve this right.

What can get you banned?

  1. Racism
  2. Bullying of any type
  3. Homophobia/Transphobia we are welcome of all types

Plus anything that constitutes illegal behaviour

Child Avatars/Illegal activity.

We do not permit the display of any illegal activity, including sexual role-play with minors and anything that would be illegal in real life. This will result in an immediate ban and report to local authorities.

Renting land

We are happy to provide virtual land for your use on the following terms:-

  1. Payment must be made on time each month – failure to pay may result in the removal of your regions
  2. Please keep your objects on your land, we don’t allow sim surrounds UNLESS they are complete, so if you approach your land by boat or air you don’t get a strange bad looking view.
  3. If you rez an item and we are challenged about you owning it or it being copied, we will ask you to either pay the creator what they wish or remove it from our grid.
  4. Support, we only supply support to people who directly rent land from us – this is generally via discord, please join our Wolf Territories Grid group on Discord (ABOVE) and use the #support channel.
  5. God Mode – at present we allow God Mode, we may in the future cease to allow this.
  6. OpenSim version – we are using OpenSim NGC – normally the latest release version
  7. Currency – You can choose Gloebits or Wolf Territories Dollar for your region and change it via a support request at any time
  8. Physics engine – we use the Y-Engine (UBODE) Physics engine.
  9. Events – you may host events on your land but you must make sure the region is set to the correct rating for the event
  10. Destination Guide – If you wish to appear in our destination guide please contact Lone Wolf or via support on Discord
  11. Private Land – You can set regions or parcels to private and not allow access if you wish, but the concept behind our grid is that everything is joined together, we are happy to provide land at the edges of the grid (although this may change as we grow) which give more privacy if required.
  12. Adult Themed Regions – Please check your rating is correct and that your content does not breach the laws of the United Kingdom.
  13. Subletting – You may sublet, give out or charge for regions however you must provide support to your renters in the first instance. They must adhere to these rules where appropriate.
  14. Have fun! Please get in touch with Lone Wolf if you need help or have suggestions. Again, through the discord forum.
  15. Notices – You may post notices and chat to the Wolf Territories Group – ask Lone Wolf to add you.
  16. God Mode – You may only use God Mode for fixing problems. If you have purchased or got something that is “No Transfer” please keep it to yourself.
  17. Other Grids – Teleporting to other grids is a risky business, sometimes things don’t go well, some grids block the transfer of objects from their grids, sometimes you can get round this by wearing the object.
  18. Clearing your viewer cache – Before requesting support, always clear your viewer cache and restart your region. If things still are not right we may need to clear the asset cache on your region to sort things out.
    Termination
  19. If you choose to terminate your agreement with us, please inform us by chat or email and cancel your payment plan. When your payment plan is cancelled then from that point your land will no longer be available without prior agreement.
  20. Once a payment plan has been terminated then to continue with the grid you will need to set up a payment plan again, note that charges may have gone up since you first bought your land, you will need to pay the new price.
  21. Once your land and objects are removed, they are no longer available, please make sure you take oar backups of your land if you wish to keep them.
  22. FREE or paid residents that lose their objects and data if you terminate are your responsibility. If they ask us for their objects we are unable to supply them because they are under your data agreement.

When you REZ an item or wear an item on this grid, you indemnify Wolf Territories Grid and Garage Master Online Ltd and take full liability and responsibility for what you Rez. If you breach copyright you are liable for that breach.

We have over 5 million assets on this grid. If you find something that is your property that you don’t want on this grid please contact the person that rezzed it as they are responsible for the copyright infringement by rezzing the items. However the grid will ALSO take swift and immediate action.

We will immediately comply with any takedown requests. We will also ban any repeat offenders. In accordance with DMCA and EU article 17 and DSA actions.

We support creators and will do everything we can to protect copyrighted items.

Uploading and Downloading Data from the grid

We allow the downloading and uploading of OAR files to the grid. We do not allow uploading and downloading of IAR files as they put too much strain on the grid.

Transferring data from our grid/hosting to other grids

We allow the transferring of data from our grids to other grids by their owners. We take no responsibility implied or otherwise for links or the transfer of objects or data to other grids. This is the responsibility of the person transferring the data or building a link.
